About me
Mental health is too often overlooked in the medical field. More and more, research is showing that physical health conditions affect our mental well-being, and that our mental health can either improve or worsen physical health conditions. I specialize in working with people to improve sleep, adjustment to chronic illness, managing chronic pain, and dealing with the mental health challenges that physical health conditions can present.
My goal is to improve overall quality of life and function of the people I work with. I use evidence-based treatments- treatments that are highly supported by research. I primarily use ACT, CBT, and mindfulness-based interventions. I use these approaches in order to help you develop tools to better tackle the challenges life brings.
